My work is multidisciplinary. Environmental concerns inform my work taking form in jewellery and installations. The mediums I use are sterling silver, titanium, copper, brass and aluminium. These are paired with my textile elements which I make. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts after 30 years as a fashion designer, leading me to explore textile art in the form of jewellery and large works. My favourite thing is actually making the textiles with thread. also in contrast, working with metal using repousse and chase, moulding the metal into organic forms is so satisfying. Especially applying fire and heat to titanium to transform the grey metal into all shades of blue.
